IdeaFest brings students face to face with global thinkers and innovators. Students attended this year’s event at Kentucky Center for the Arts, where they listened to presentations: The Age of Disruption by Emily Dreyfuss from WIRED Magazine and Polarization: A View from the Front Lines, with CNN’s political analyst John King. Emily Dreyfuss is a Senior Writer at WIRED, one of the top 10 technology news websites in the world. In her role at WIRED, Dreyfuss covers the intersection of technology and society, and is in a unique position to monitor trends, innovations and factors that influence the future. John King is an American news anchor. He is CNN’s chief national correspondent, based in Washington, DC,  and is anchor of its roundtable political discussion program Inside Politics. King is the former anchor of State of the Union and has covered the past seven presidential elections.
