I’m Denise Webb, and I teach Visual Art + Design at the Academies of Louisville / Pleasure Ridge Park High School [PRP] in Louisville, Kentucky.  I’m currently in my thirteenth year of teaching at PRP. Before teaching, I ran my own graphic design studio in Louisville, and bring more than twenty years of experience as a graphic designer, artist, and entrepreneur to my classroom. This year, my classes include Basic Design, Visual Art 2, Visual Art 3, and Visual Art 4.

I’m a National Board Certified teacher [Communication and the Arts], an Adobe Certified Specialist /Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator], and an Apple Certified teacher. In 2016, I was honored to participate in the National Gallery of Art Teacher Institute held in Washington, DC, and later that year, was selected by PBS as a Local Digital Innovator. I’m the faculty sponsor for the National Art Honor Society; work with students to produce the PRP Pulse Literary Magazine; and sponsor PRP’s Higher Purpose Club.
