Trevor Gibson has earned national recognition in The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2013. Trevor won a National GOLD Medal for the posters he designed for the Reach Out/Stay Strong campaign last fall.
This year, 230,000 works of art and writing were submitted. Only the top 1% earn this highest award from Scholastic.
These students have been identified by panels of creative professionals as the most talented young artists and writers in the nation. Trevor has been invited to attend a ceremony at world-famous Carnegie Hall in late May, and the poster campaign featuring PRP students will be on view at the Parsons School of Design in NYC . The posters will also travel around the country for up to two years as part of the Scholastic Awards traveling exhibition.
Congrats to Trevor, along with his AdFed teammates, Malik Jones, Taylor Gray, Sydney Doyle, Brittany Auvil and Kelly Hasselbach for their award winning work.
